Michelle De-Torre
I’ve dreamed of creating the Nigel Prosser Foundation for a while now, to be able to support families with special educational needs and honour Nigel’s legacy. I’m thrilled to say that my dream has come true! For the first time in a long time, I feel hopeful about the future and the many families we can help.
My journey began when I volunteered at the special educational needs nursery setting that my son attends, which opened my eyes to the countless families who need support. I owe so much to my son, Toby; before he came into my life, I knew little about special needs. He has introduced me to a whole new world, and I’m excited about the incredible work and opportunities we can create to help others.

Sue Colley
Nigel was not just my partner; he was the heart of our family. Losing him has left an immense void in my life and the lives of those who loved him. Family and friends meant everything to Nigel, and he was a doting granddad who always brought joy and laughter into our lives.
Through this foundation, we aim to honor his memory by supporting families like ours. We are committed to providing guidance, resources, and a safe space for those in need, making a positive impact on many lives.
Though this journey is bittersweet, I find solace in knowing that Nigel would be immensely proud of our efforts. His legacy will live on through this foundation, reflecting the kindness, generosity, and humor that defined him. Together, we will ensure that his spirit continues to inspire and uplift.

Emma Perks
Family meant everything to Nigel. His two sons, his brothers, his parents, Sue and her children, and the extended family were his world. When his three grandchildren arrived, he was the happiest he’d ever been, especially when it came to little Toby, who was truly the apple of his eye – “He’s just great.”
Nigel was the rock we all leaned on—reliable, strong, and dependable. The Nigel Prosser Foundation will carry on his legacy by providing support to families facing the challenges associated with SEN. This work not only honours his memory but also keeps his wonderful spirit alive.
I’m humbled and honoured to join Sue and Michelle on this journey to fulfil their dream and the promise made to one of the kindest souls this world has known. His cheeky grins and generous heart will forever hold a special place in my memories.

Ellie De-Torre
